1. Create your workspace

After signing up, you'll land in your first workspace. A workspace holds everything for one brand or project — drafts, personas, brand voices, and connected social accounts. You can create as many workspaces as you need.

2. Teach Ponytail your voice (optional, recommended)

Personasdescribe who is writing: their role, tone, expertise, favorite expressions, and things they'd never say. Brand Voices set the overall dial: formality, humor, emoji level, and more. Attach either (or both) to a draft and the AI writes in that style.

3. Write with the AI

Hit Ready to write? on your dashboard and follow the three steps. A persona and brand voice can be picked from the bar above every step, right up until you generate.

• •Platform Select— choose where you'll publish. Instagram expands into Image, Video, Stories, and Reels, each with its own format rules
• •Outlining — describe what the post is about, add any notes for a specific platform, and upload photos or videos. Click any media to crop, filter, adjust, or trim it right in the browser
• •Review — the AI generates a tailored version for every platform you picked. Edit freely, then copy or publish

4. Drafts

Every step is saved as a draft you can leave and resume anytime from the Drafts page. Unfinished drafts are kept for 7 days after their last edit — we'll email you a day before one expires.

Coming soon: Video Studio

A second kind of project that produces a complete narrated video of up to 30 minutes. You'll set up your voice once by reading a short script aloud in the browser, then for each video choose a tone, target length, visual style (realistic, animated, and more), how dynamic the visuals should be, and whether to burn in subtitles. Ponytail writes the script, narrates it in your voice, generates the visuals and music, and opens the result in a scene editor where you can cut, rearrange, and re-narrate — narration and music sit on separate tracks. Finished videos can be downloaded or posted to a connected YouTube channel. We'll update this page when it ships.
